With a visual system, palletizing/depalletizing and denesting/renesting can be carried out even more precisely by our robots. Therefore, four photos of the tubs are taken by a camera, after which the software checks them for completeness and calculates their exact position. This process takes just 20 milliseconds. Afterwards the robot can grip the tubs precisely and transports them safely to the next position. This industrial image processing is fully automated. We use the hardware and software from Keyence for this process.
In the future, this system will be integrated in our automated handling solutions.
